I’m Ray Jones, known in the music space as KrateKings — a producer, and creative rooted in raw expression. My journey began not in a studio, but in the corners of life where pain, struggle, and reflection meet rhythm.

I make music not to impress, but to connect.  Every beat I build, is fueled by truth — no fluff, no chasing trends. My sound is deeply inspired by the soul of classic hip-hop, from boom bap to funk-infused instrumentals, and everything I release reflects intention, not imitation.

I'm heavily influenced by pioneers like E-A-Ski, Pete Rock, and J Dilla, Heatmakerz Dr. Dre D.I.T.C. Premo Rza as well as others. but I fuse that foundation with my own voice to create something that feels both timeless and personal.

My recent projects — like JDFWMS and Mr. Soulful — are not just albums; they're statements. They’re about remembering why we fell in love with this culture in the first place.

Whether it’s through instrumentals or lyrical records, I create from the soul, not the algorithm. And I’ll keep doing that — even if it’s just for one person who needs to hear it.
